Achieving Goals Hypnotherapy
Now we’re living in a world where everything is much more instant and quick. Things have been with you quickly, there’s messaging, online stuff, you can order stuff, it’s with you really, really quickly, which is great, many positives from that.
Yet that need for instant results, that need for something quickly, those kind of instant hits that we get, mean that when it comes to the bigger goals in life, those things that are meaningful and worthwhile, it’s very easy to get frustrated if progress isn’t happening really quickly. If we’re not where you think we should be, if we’re not getting those instant hits, if we’re hit with a challenge of some kind.
So we want to feel kind of okay around the fact that when it comes to the bigger goals in life, those things, you know, that are meaningful, those things that you want in your life, the way you want to live in your thinking, you’re feeling, your behaviours, fitness goals, career goals, life goals, then you want to feel at peace with the fact that, yeah, it’s going to take time. There’s going to be things to overcome, it’s going to be learning to do, it’s going to involve time, energy, persistence and focus to achieve those things.
Even more than just feeling at peace with it and being okay with it, you want to thrive on it. Thrive on the fact that if a goal’s worth something to you, if it’s meaningful, it’s going to get you positive results, it has a sense of purpose behind it, it’s going to, you know, bring something to you and help you to be a better version of you. Then it’s going to involve that time, that energy, that focus, that learning, that handling setbacks and getting better at dealing with problems. You’re going to become a better version of you as a result of the fact that there is a period of time in it and it’s not just an instant hit. If it’s just an instant hit, you know, after a while you get bored, you go on to the next thing, it wouldn’t be worthwhile, you wouldn’t become a better version of you.
So feel good around it, thrive on it and really enjoy the fact that the goal is important to you, it’s going to involve time, energy, focus, learning, handling things, making progress but you can still see that through, you can enjoy that journey, you can feel good around it, thrive on it, enjoy it.
