5 Minute Rule For Changing Habits Hypnotherapy
Now making changes to habits and behaviours can often seem like a bit of a challenge, bit of an uphill task. And we procrastinate, we lose focus, we find ourselves back where we started. And all those good intentions go out the window.
So if you want to change your habits, adopt healthier habits, exercising, studying, reading, eating healthier and so on, then adopt a five minute rule. Take on a task that will take you no more than five minutes and then just repeat it. So if you want to read more, it becomes reading for five minutes a day. If you want to exercise more, exercise five minutes a day or get your kit ready and use the five minutes for that. If you’re studying, spend five minutes kind of going through you know whatever module you’re on and if you want to eat healthier you can use that five minutes to prepare something or to get something ready, to plan your meals, to change a particular meal and adopt that five minutes kind of rule.
You adopt that five minute rule and change your behaviours. You adopt those habits, you integrate them seamlessly and in no time at all they’re just part of what you do and they form new habits. You’ve learned, you’ve changed, you’ve put them in place and then you move on to the next one. And you build and build and build and soon you’ll find that you’ve made massive progress simply by adopting a daily five-minute rule.
