Boosting Mental Health in the New Forest – Hypnotherapy in Ely Vlog
I recorded this video while out running and exploring in the New Forest. It’s all about boosting mental health by getting out in nature, exercising, having fun and getting away from screens for a while. As you’ll see in the video, I was a bit lost in the forest at the time and ended up way off course – although it meant I got to see loads more of this beautiful place (and thank you to the fellow runners who turned me around when I was running in t totally wrong direction for where I was staying!). Boosting mental health in the forest
Hello, it’s Dan here. I hope you’re good today. At the moment, I’m in the New Forest. you can have a little look around there Amazing place. Just doing a sort of run, walk, explore kind of thing. I’ve mentioned before that getting out in nature is a fantastic thing to do for your mental health. Exercise is as well – combine the two. I’ve seen dozens of horses as you might expect in the New Forest. Nearly ran into a cow which was a bit unfortunate. I don’t know who was more freaked out. I’m not sure wearing my Ely runners bright top is going down too well with some of the animals and a herd of deer has just charged off over there. Again, saw me coming and off they went.
So, this really, super-quick video, like I say, I’m trying to find a path at the moment. That cow kind of threw me off and I am wandering around a forest, how hard can it be to find your way out of a forest. All the trees definitely don’t look the same. But yeah, getting out in nature, just getting away, just taking some time out, it’s very kind of meditative, it’s very kind of mindful to just see where the path takes you, getting out in nature, having a look around, seeing what you see, good for your mental health, exercise is obviously brilliant as well, having some time off is absolutely fantastic with the family, getting out really early when it’s really quiet and I don’t know if you can see the sun, it’s starting to come up. I think it’s going to be boiling today, just having a bit of fun, run, walk, jog, have a look around.
It’s a beautiful place, isn’t it, absolutely, look at all that, absolutely beautiful place. I’m going to find a path so if you’ve got time, I know I’m recording this on my mobile, turn your e-mails off for the day, get out in nature, really good for your mental health, do exercise as well, get out in the sunlight, all really good stuff. If you ever see this video then I definitely found a path – it’s all looking just a bit foresty. I will leave you with that, mental health really good to get out in nature, to get out and exercise, to be mindful, to take some time off away from screens and to just enjoy yourself.
