Anxious Overthinking Hypnotherapy

Now, if you have a tendency for anxious overthinking and imagine all sorts of worst case scenarios in the future, catastrophising, then you’ll know you can very easily get lost in that and one disaster in your mind leads to another and the whole time that anxious feeling that you have just ramps up and up and up.

Yet you also know that a lot of those things aren’t logical, are not even likely, it’s not even probable. They’re just that anxious imagination seeking out those threats, thinking of all the things that could go wrong.

So one way to start tackling that is to bring all of your focus back to right now and in your mind tell yourself to be where your feet are. Like really ground yourself, feel your feet into the floor, be very present in that way and bring your mind back to this moment where all those imagined things, you know, aren’t things at all. They’re just your imagination.

So bring everything back to now. Your feet aren’t over there, your feet aren’t in your imagination, your feet aren’t kind of running away. Bring your focus back to where you are right now. Bring your mindset back and I think you’ll find yourself, if you do that, and as you repeat that, just feeling calmer, more comfortable, more at peace and then just finding it easier to tackle whatever you need to right now. So give that a try, be where your feet are and let me know how you get on.
