I saw Dan for a number of sessions due to rising anxiety that really came into its own when I had races coming up. I could be on a start line in tears because I couldn’t cope with the pressure of the event and it was ruining running for me. It then started to creep into my every day life and led to some anxiety attacks in public. Dan tried several coping mechanisms with me until we found the ones that really worked, and I felt like his background as a runner meant that he really understood the issues I was going through. He also has an extremely calm manner so that you can’t help but be relaxed in his company. I’ve recommended him to friends and family and will continue to do so because he helped me through a really difficult period in my life.
