You’re not the only one this happens to, and things can change.
It’s possible to gradually change the panic pattern so you can feel calmer, more confident and more in control again.
Quick Summary
Name: Jean
Issue: Anxiety, panic attacks, stress and constant worry
What changed:
– Reduced anxiety and panic
– Felt calmer and more in control
– Increased confidence
– Better emotional resilience
– Everyday life felt easier again
Starting Point
Before starting hypnotherapy, anxiety and panic attacks had gradually begun affecting everyday life.
Like many people experiencing panic, there was also increasing fear around:
– panic symptoms
– feeling overwhelmed
– losing control
– how anxiety might affect daily life
Over time, this can become emotionally and mentally exhausting. You start to avoid things and worry about when the next panic may arrive.
Panic attacks can feel extremely frightening physically, even though the symptoms are caused by the body’s fight-or-flight response.
The Approach
The focus was on helping:
– calm anxiety responses
– reduce panic and fear cycles
– build emotional resilience
– feel calmer physically and mentally
– regain confidence and control again
Sessions were supportive, practical and tailored personally.
The focus is on helping the mind and body respond more calmly and confidently over time – and you learn strategies to manage your thoughts and feelings moving forward after your sessions.
What Changed
As described in the video below:
– Anxiety became far more manageable
– Panic attacks reduced significantly
– Confidence improved
– There was a much greater sense of calm
– Life began feeling easier and more enjoyable again
These changes can make a huge difference to everyday life and emotional wellbeing.
Why This Matters
Many people experiencing anxiety and panic attacks quietly feel trapped in ongoing cycles of:
– fear
– overthinking
– panic symptoms
– reassurance seeking
– avoidance
Over time, this can affect confidence, relationships, work and enjoyment of life.
As anxiety patterns begin changing, many people notice they:
– feel calmer mentally and physically
– stop fearing panic as much
– regain confidence
– feel more like themselves again

You don’t need to read this, the video above explains everything clearly. This is here if you prefer to read instead.
Two years ago I had a very rough time in my life. I’d just lost my mum and both my kids had moved out of the house, so I was suffering empty nest syndrome. I wasn’t working at the time and I developed an anxiety problem and, with that, came a really bad panic attack. It was quite bad. I thought I was actually having a heart attack or a stroke at the time.
After that I lived in fear of having another panic attack possibly in public, while out shopping, or at a restaurant with friends, and the prospect was really frightening. I went to the doctor and sadly, or actually fortunately for me, the doctor was quite unsympathetic and gave me a prescription for some type of sedative tablet which made me feel really, really awful. It was then that I decided that I was going to look for a hypnotherapist and I found Dan.
Dan was amazing, he was very friendly, very easy to talk to and he taught me some great techniques of how to breathe, how to recognise the panic for what it was, where it stemmed from, how it originated and he taught me how to cope.
And that was two years ago and I’m pleased to say that my life’s completely turned around. I feel very, very confident. I feel like the old me again and, really, if you are feeling anxious or having any anxiety at all, go and see Dan, ‘cause he will help you. Thank you very much.
